FRANÇOIS DE CHEVERT ( 1695 - 1769 )
François de Chevert fue un militar francés durante el reinado de Luis XV, participo en la guerra de sucessión Austriaca ( 1740 - 1748 ) y en la guerra de los siete años ( 1756 - 1763 ) entre otras contiendas militares, fue governador de Givet y Charlemont.
François de Chevert was a French soldier during the reign of Louis XV. He participated in the War of the Austrian Succession (1740–1748) and the Seven Years' War (1756–1763), among other military conflicts, and was governor of Givet and Charlemont.

François Chevert viste un abrigo militar adornado con ricos bordados. Sobre su pecho luce la banda de la Orden del Águila Blanca de Polonia, y en el pecho exhibe la insignia de la Gran Cruz de la Orden de San Luis (Ordre de Saint-Louis), la máxima distinción al mérito militar en el Antiguo Régimen francés.
Fisionomía:
Retratado con una peluca empolvada típica de la época de Luis XV, el rostro refleja la veteranía y firmeza características de su iconografía oficial, manteniendo una pose aristocrática pero resuelta, con una mano apoyada firmemente en la cadera.

Across his chest is the sash of the Order of the White Eagle of Poland, and on his chest he displays the badge of the Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Louis (Ordre de Saint-Louis), the highest distinction for military merit in the French Ancien Régime.Physiognomy:Portraited with a powdered wig typical of the Louis XV era, his face reflects the veteran status and firmness characteristic of his official iconography. He maintains an aristocratic yet resolute pose, with one hand firmly resting on his hip.
