Giuseppe Garibaldi fue unos de los artífices de la Unificación de Italia, estadista, militar, político y aventurero en 1860 entrego el reino de Nápoles a Victor Manuel II que se convirtió en el primer rey de la Italia unificada.

Giuseppe Garibaldi was one of the architects of the Unification of Italy, statesman, military, politician and adventurer. In 1860 he handed over the kingdom of Naples to Victor Emmanuel II who became the first king of unified Italy.

Joliot de Crebillon fué un dramaturgo Francés, entre 1731 7 1762 ocupo el sillón 13 de la Academia Francesa, nombrado censor Real por luis XV de Francia.

Retrato en grabado aparecido en una publicación sin identificar, de grabador desconocido y fechado en la primera mitad del Siglo XX


Joliot de Crebillon was a French playwright, between 1731 and 1762 he occupied the seat 13 of the French Academy, appointed Royal censor by Louis XV of France.

Portrait in engraving appeared in an unidentified publication, of unknown engraver and dated in the first half of the 20th century.

 LA TABLA DE MOISÉS

La tabla de Moisés o diez mandamientos son un conjunto de principios, reglas y normas que rigen la ética y la moral del judaísmo y el cristianismo.

The Table of Moses or Ten Commandments are a set of principles, rules and norms that govern the ethics and morals of Judaism and Christianity.

ICONOGRAFÍA / ICONOGRAPHY :
Moisés en la montaña (Arriba a la izrda):
Moisés en la montaña (arriba a la izquierda): Moisés aparece arrodillado en la cima de la montaña. Extiende la mano hacia un claro entre las densas y oscuras nubes de tormenta, donde se vislumbra luz divina, fuego o una manifestación celestial. Ya sostiene o recibe las tablas de la ley.
La Presencia Divina:
Una trompeta emerge de las nubes junto a la luz divina, una referencia visual directa a Éxodo 19:16 («Hubo truenos y relámpagos, y una espesa nube sobre el monte, y el sonido de la trompeta resonó con gran fuerza»).
Los israelitas al pie de la montaña (Primer plano y plano medio):
En la parte inferior, varias figuras que representan al pueblo de Israel están arrodilladas, orando y mirando hacia arriba con asombro y temor. A la derecha, una gran multitud se extiende hacia su campamento.

El campamento de Israel (Fondo derecho):
Se puede apreciar claramente un grupo de tiendas puntiagudas que representan el campamento en el desierto, con un camello en el extremo derecho para enfatizar el entorno desértico del Cercano Oriente.

Moses on the Mountain (Top Left):
Moses is depicted kneeling on the summit of the mountain. He is reaching upward toward a break in the heavy, dark storm clouds where divine light, fire, or a heavenly manifestation is appearing. He is already holding or receiving the stone tablets.

The Divine Presence:
A trumpet horn emerges from the clouds right next to the divine light, a direct visual reference to Exodus 19:16 ("there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud").

The Israelites at the Base (Foreground & Midground):
At the bottom, various figures representing the people of Israel are kneeling, praying, and looking upward in awe and fear. To the right, a large crowd extends back toward their encampment.

The Camp of Israel (Right Background):
You can clearly see a cluster of pointed tents representing the wilderness camp, complete with a camel on the far right to emphasize the Near Eastern, desert setting.

Se trata de un grabado en madera, reconocible por las líneas negras gruesas y definidas y la textura rústica del sombreado (como en las laderas de las montañas y las nubes).

This is a woodcut, discernible by the bold, relatively thick black lines and the rustic texture of the hatching used for shading (such as on the mountain slopes and clouds).
