El REY DAVID

La Bíblia describe a David como un Rey justo, fue elejido por Dios para gobernar Israel , parece vivió entre los años 1040 y 996 A.C., se le representa con un arpa dando lugar a la felicidad y la justicia, cuenta la leyenda que sus cuerdas musicales conectaban el mundo terrenal con el celestial.

The Bible describes David as a just King, he was chosen by God to rule Israel, he seems to have lived between 1040 and 996 B.C., he is represented with a harp giving rise to happiness and justice, the legend says that his musical strings connected the earthly world with the heavenly one.

ICONOGRAFÍA / ICONOGRAPHY

Dios Padre:

Representado en la parte superior con los brazos extendidos, emergiendo de la luz y las nubes como fuente de la bendición divina. El Espíritu Santo:

Representado como una paloma que emite rayos directamente sobre la custodia. Dios Hijo (Eucaristía):

Representado sacramentalmente en la hostia contenida en la custodia solar. Dentro del ostensorio, se muestra un cordero recostado sobre un libro con siete sellos (Agnus Dei). Custodia solar (ostensorio):

Custodia de estilo barroco/rococó con intrincados detalles, colocada sobre un pie ornamentado. Querubines/Putti:

Cabezas de querubines sostienen la base y la sección inferior del pie de la custodia, junto con motivos florales y de volutas (base de cartela). Bordes de nubes:

Densas nubes ondulantes enmarcan ambos lados, separando la esfera celestial de la perspectiva terrenal.

God the Father:

Depicted at the top with outstretched arms, emerging from light and clouds as the source of divine blessing.

The Holy Spirit:

Shown as a dove emitting rays directly above the monstrance.

God the Son (Eucharist):

Represented sacramentally in the host contained within the sunburst monstrance. Inside the ostensorium, a lamb lying upon a book with seven seals (Agnus Dei) is featured.

Sunburst Monstrance (Ostensorium):

Intricately detailed Baroque/Rococo style monstrance set atop an ornate stem.

Cherubs / Putti:

Cherubim heads support the base and lower section of the monstrance stem, along with floral and scrollwork motifs (cartouche base).

Cloud Borders:

Dense, billowy clouds frame both sides, separating the heavenly sphere from the earthly perspective.
