Edouard IV fue rey de Inglaterra de 1461 hasta 1470 y posteriormente de 1471 hasta su muerte en 1483, fue el primer rey de Inglaterra de ka casa de York.
Edouard IV was king of England from 1461 to 1470 and them from 1471 until his deatrh in 1483, the first king of England of the house of York.

El monarca aparece representado de perfil izquierdo (en formato clasicista de medalla), luciendo una corona ornamentada con incrustaciones de joyas y una armadura estilizada con drapeados. El retrato se encuentra dentro de un marco ovalado de piedra labrada, que descansa sobre un pedestal o zócalo arquitectónico rústico.
The monarch is depicted in left profile (classicizing en médaille format), wearing an ornate, jewel-encrusted crown and stylized armor with drapery. The portrait is set within a molded oval stone frame resting atop a rusticated architectural pedestal or plinth.
