Joseph Puteobonellus , Giuseppe Portobonelli fue un cardenal Italiano recordado por sus dotes diplomáticas y en especial las relaciones del Imperio Romano Germánico con la Santa Sede, fue condecorado con La Gran Cruz del Orden Real de San Esteban de Hungría.

Joseph Puteobonellus, Giuseppe Portobonelli was an Italian Cardinal remembered for his diplomatic skills and specially the relations of the Germanic Roman Empire, with the holy See, was de honored with the Grand Croos of the Royal Order of St Stephen of Hungary.

Tommaso Manzuoli, conocido como Maso de San Friano fue un pintor manierista  Italiano, trabajo en la Catedral de la ciudad de Prato así como en distintas iglesias de la Florencia, participo en la decoración del " Palazzo Vechio " por encargo de Francisco I de Médicis, su obra se conserva casi en su totalidad en la ciudad de Florencia.

Tommaso Manzuoli, known as Maso de San Friano was a Italian mannerist painter, he worked in the Cathedral of the city of Prato as well as in different churches of Florence, he participated in the decoration of the " Palazzo Vechio " commissioned by Francis I de Medici, his work is preserved  almost entirely in the city of Florence.

Don Prosper Colonna fue un condotiero Italiano al servicio del Rey de Francia, de los Estados Pontificios, del Santo Imperio Romano Germánico, durante las guerras Italianas comando con éxito las tropas de Carlos V .

Don Prosper Colonna was an Italian condottiero on the service of the King of France, of the Papal States, of the holy Roman Empire, during the Italian wars he sucessfully commanded the troops of Charles V.

ICONOGRAFÍA / ICONOHRAPHY:

Don Prosper Colonna (Próspero Colonna).

Aparece representado de medio perfil, con cabello largo y rizado, bigote y barba corta. Viste una armadura de placas de época de transición, característica de los capitanes de principios del siglo XVI, cubierta parcialmente por un manto sobre su hombro derecho. El fondo muestra un paisaje atmosférico vaporoso con densas nubes, un recurso habitual en la retratística grabada del siglo XVII y XVIII para resaltar el relieve del personaje.

El retrato está inscrito en un marco rectangular moldurado de efecto arquitectónico simétrico. En la parte inferior, se dispone un pedestal o cartela barroca ornamentada con volutas que contiene la inscripción identificativa.

Don Prosper Colonna (Prospero Colonna).

He is depicted in half-profile, with long, curly hair, a mustache, and a short beard. He wears plate armor from the transitional period, characteristic of captains in the early 16th century, partially covered by a cloak draped over his right shoulder. The background shows a hazy, atmospheric landscape with dense clouds, a common device in 17th- and 18th-century engraved portraits to emphasize the subject's presence.

The portrait is set within a rectangular, molded frame with a symmetrical, architectural effect. At the bottom, there is a Baroque pedestal or cartouche adorned with volutes, containing the identifying inscription.

OBSERVACIONES / OBSERVATIONS :

Este modelo de retratos enmarcados con pedestales tipográficos fue profusamente utilizado en obras históricas monumentales de la época, como las traducciones neerlandesas de biografías universales o historias militares de Europa central e Italia. La fineza del entramado de líneas (taille) en las sombras de la armadura y el rostro denota una matriz de cobre bien ejecutada por un artesano centroeuropeo o de la escuela holandesa, siguiendo la estela iconográfica de retratos previos (como los de Tobias Stimmer o reproducciones francesas contemporáneas adaptadas al mercado editorial de las Provincias Unidas).

This model of framed portraits with typographic pedestals was widely used in monumental historical works of the period, such as Dutch translations of universal biographies or military histories of Central Europe and Italy. The fineness of the linework (taille) in the shadows of the armor and face denotes a well-executed copper plate by a Central European craftsman or one from the Dutch school, following the iconographic style of earlier portraits (such as those by Tobias Stimmer or contemporary French reproductions adapted to the publishing market of the United Provinces).

Daniel Concina fue un predicador y teólogo Veneciano, tomo los hábitos Dominicos en 1708, participo muy activamente en las distintas disputas teológicas que agitaron la Italia del Siglo XVIII, obtuvo la protección del Papa Benedícto XIV, se le recuerda por su humildad, su oratoria y su gran erudición.

Daniel Concina was a Venetian preacher and theologian, he took the Dominican habits in 1708, he participated very actively in the different theological disputes that agitated the Italy of the XVIII century, he obtained the protection of Pope Benedict XIV, he is remembered for his humility, his oratory and his great erudition.

Hábito:

Se le muestra vistiendo el hábito dominicano tradicional: la túnica blanca y el escapulario cubiertos por la capucha (capucha) de color negro/marrón oscuro.

Escenario:

La biblioteca de un erudito, lo que subraya su vasta producción textual (en particular, su obra en varios volúmenes, Theologia Christiana dogmatico-moralis).

Atributos:

Su mano descansa firmemente sobre un gran volumen, flanqueado por un tintero con plumas y un crucifijo con el título INRI al fondo, lo que indica su enfoque en la teología moral rigurosa y la defensa ortodoxa de la doctrina cristiana frente al laxismo y el probabilismo.

A scholar's library, emphasizing his massive textual output (most notably his multi-volume Theologia Christiana dogmatico-moralis).

His hand rests firmly upon a large volume, flanked by an inkwell with quills and a crucifix bearing the INRI titulus in the background, signaling his focus on rigorous moral theology and orthodox defense of Christian doctrine against Laxism and Probabilism.

SAN URBINO DE BRANCOSINI   

San Urbino de Brancosini fue un hermano profeso Franciscano nacido en Montebaroccio diocesis de Urbino, Italia, del que no se sabe con exactitud el año en que nacio 1340 ? y murió, se cree que luego de un duelo con su padrino este le hirió en la pierna con la espada muriendo a  consecuencia de la heridas en pocos días, experimento por ello tales remordimientos que entro en la orden Franciscana, llegando a maestro de novicios y llevando una vida de austeridad y penitencia, luego de su muerte cuenta la leyenda que  un lirio de belleza inusual floreció en su tumba, este hecho sirvió para acrecentar su devoción, luego de mas de cinco siglos su cuerpo se conserva incorrupto.

San Urbino de Brancosini was a professed Franciscan friar born in Montebaroccio diocese of Urbino, Italy, of wich it is not known exactly the year in wich he was born 1340? it is believed that after a duel with his godfather he wounded him is the leg with the sword dying as a result of the wounds in a few days, he experienced such remorse that he entered the Franciscan order, becoming master of novices and leading a life of austerity and penance, after his death legend has it that a lily of unusual beauty bloomed on his tomb, this fact served to increase his devotion, after more than five centuries his body is preserved incorrupt.

El beato Santes de Urbino (1343-1394) fue un fraile franciscano de la región de Las Marcas, en Italia, conocido por su profunda humildad, piedad y visiones milagrosas. Aquí se le representa con una aureola radiante (nimbo), vistiendo el hábito franciscano tradicional con capucha, sujeto con un cordón anudado.

Composición:

La figura está representada de medio cuerpo, enmarcada sobre un fondo oscuro y densamente sombreado, con drapeados a sus espaldas, lo que concentra la atención en su rostro iluminado y sus manos expresivas.

• Blessed Santes of Urbino (1343–1394) was a Franciscan brother from the Marche region of Italy, known for his deep humility, piety, and miraculous visions. He is represented here with a radiant halo (nimbus), wearing the traditional hooded Franciscan habit tied with a knotted cord.
