Sor Barbe Barthélémy ( 1662–1755 )
Fue una de las primeras superioras generales de la Congregación de Borromeas (Hermanas de la Caridad de San Carlos de Nancy), gobernando la institución en dos periodos (1714–1720 y 1725–1735). Destacó históricamente por su entrega al cuidado de los enfermos y los más desfavorecidos, falleciendo con una arraigada fama de santidad (lo que justifica el tratamiento de "Vénérable" en la estampa).

She was one of the first general superiors of the Congregation of the Borromeans (Sisters of Charity of St. Charles of Nancy), leading the order during two terms (1714–1720 and 1725–1735). She is historically noted for her dedication to caring for the sick and the most disadvantaged, and she died with a well-established reputation for holiness (which justifies the title “Venerable” on the print).
