INFANTA MARIA ANA DE ESPAÑA ( 1606 - 1646 )
Maria Ana de Austria fue Infanta de España hija menor del Rey Felipe III y Margarita de Austria y hermana de Felipe IV, se convirtió en emperatriz del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico al casarse con su primo Fernando III de Habsburgo, falleció en Linz el 13 de Mayo de 1646 a la edad de 39 años a causa de las complicaciones en el parto de su hija la archiduquesa María de Austria que también fallecería días después de nacer.
Maria Anna of Austria was an Infanta of Spain, the youngest daughter of King Philip III and Margaret of Austria, and the sister of Philip IV; She became Empress of the Holy Roman Empire upon marrying her cousin Ferdinand III of Habsburg. She died in Linz on 13 May 1646 at the age of 39 due to complications during the birth of her daughter, Archduchess Maria of Austria, who also died a few days after her birth.

La infanta aparece representada en su juventud y enmarcada en un óvalo, vistiendo la indumentaria formal de la corte española de las primeras décadas del siglo XVII, destacando la imponente lechuguilla rizada encajonada de encaje y el cabello adornado con perlas o pedrería.

The Infanta is depicted in her youth, framed within an oval, wearing the formal attire of the Spanish court from the early decades of the 17th century; of particular note are her imposing curled ruff, edged with lace, and her hair, adorned with pearls or gemstones.
En el ovalo encontramos la leyenda / inside the oval is the inscription
SERENISS: MARIA / PHILIPPI III [o IIII]. HISPANIARUM / INDIAR: ETC: REGIS SOROR
Grabado con texto en Holandés antiguo en el reverso de la hoja datado en alguna fecha indeterminada de la primera mitad del siglo XVII como ilustración en crónicas históricas o libros de Genealogía real para documentar a los miembros de la familia Habsburgo, grabado impreso seguramente en flándes o en las provincias unidas, la signatura tipográfica C2 indica la posición de la hoja dentro del volumen del que formo parte.
An engraving with text in Old Dutch on the reverse of the sheet, dated to an unspecified time in the first half of the 17th century, used as an illustration in historical chronicles or royal genealogical books to document members of the Habsburg family. The engraving was most likely printed in Flanders or the United Provinces; the typographical reference C2 indicates the sheet’s position within the volume of which it forms part.
