Johann von Khevenhüller, conde de Frankenberg. Fue el larguísimo y crucial embajador imperial del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico en Madrid (corte de Felipe II y Felipe III), muy integrado en la vida cortesana española de la época.
Johann von Khevenhüller, Count of Frankenberg. He was the very long and crucial imperial ambassador of the Holy Roman Empire in Madrid (court of Philip II and Philip III), very integrated into the Spanish court life of the time.

The engraving is done using the intaglio technique. The modeling of the face and the metallic textures of the armor show great technical finesse, typical of the productions of Flemish or Central European workshops of the period (such as those of the Sadeler family or the circle of Dominicus Custos), which often illustrated noble chronicles and historical treatises (such as the Speculum heroicum or chronicles of the House of Austria).
