INTERPRETACIÓN :
En la parte inferior derecha encontramos una figura con hábitos eclesiásticos lo que podría ser un obispo con mitra sosteniendo un Báculo en la mano izquierda y en la manoo derecha una biblia con un pez encima del libro o ichtus cuyo acrónimo en Griego significa Jesucristo,, encima de la Mitra encontramos la grafía S. Udalricus.
San Udalricus podría referirse a San Uldarico de Augsburgo (890-973) eclesiástico importante en el inicio del Imperio Romano Germánico (962?) y canonizado en el año 973 por el Papa Juan XV. en la parte inferior de la figura encontramos la palabra Precibus pudiendo hacer referencia a Prelado u oraciones.
En la parte inferior izquierda encontramos una figura con corona imperial, vestimenta de caballero con un manipulo en su mano izquierda lo que denota autoridad y mando, encima la corona encontramos la grafía Otto Imperator pudiendo referirse a Otto I primer emperador del Sacro Imperio Románico Germánico y al inferior del grabado la palabra Armis .
A destacar las abundantes barbas que lucen las dos figuras, en la edad media la barba era sinónimo de respeto, sabiduría y honorabilidad.
En la mitad superior del grabado encontramos una batalla épica, la huida de un ejercito en la parte Superior derecha perseguido por otro ejercito de clérigos con la figura de un jinete con mitra y otro con corona Imperial en referencia a Otto I y San Uldarico, en la parte superior central encontramos las palabras Hunnos Profligant (la huida de los hunos ?) rodeado la parte inferior de la grafía por unos ángeles acompañando al ejercito Imperial en referencia al nacimiento de una nueva era y un nuevo orden el inicio del Sacro Imperio Románico Germánico, el presente grabado es una exposición alegórica ya que del final de los Hunnos al inicio del Sacro Imperio Románico Germánico los separan varias centurias.
INTERPRETATION:
In the lower right part we find a figure with ecclesiastical habits what could be a bishop with a miter holding a crozier in the left hand and in the right hand a bible with a fish above the book or ichtus whose acronym in Greek means Jesus Christ, above the miter we find the spelling S. Udalricus.
St. Udalricus could refer to St. Uldaric of Augsburg (890-973) an important ecclesiastic at the beginning of the Germanic Roman Empire (962?) and canonized in 973 by Pope John XV. In the lower part of the figure we find the word Precibus which could refer to Prelate or prayers.
In the lower left part we find a figure with an imperial crown, dressed as a knight with a handle in his left hand which denotes authority and command, above the crown we find the spelling Otto Imperator which could refer to Otto I first emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and at the bottom of the engraving the word Armis.
To emphasize the abundant beards that show the two figures, in the Middle Ages the beard was synonymous of respect, wisdom and honorability.
In the upper half of the engraving we find an epic battle, the flight of an army in the upper right part pursued by another army of clerics with the figure of a horseman with miter and another with Imperial crown in reference to Otto I and Saint Uldarico, in the central upper part we find the words Hunnos Profligant (the flight of the Huns ? ) surrounded the inferior part of the spelling by some angels accompanying the Imperial army in reference to the birth of a new era and a new order the beginning of the Holy Roman Empire, the present engraving is an allegorical exhibition since from the end of the Hunnos to the beginning of the Holy Roman Empire they separate them several centuries.
