En el grabado de la Virgen y la Cuna conservados en distintas bibliotecas y museos se atribuye la estampa a Marcontonio Raimundi sobre un diseño de Rafael Sanzio encontrando la diferencia con el presente grabado en el pliegue de la cuna en donde la V no esta invertida, puede que el grabado sea una copia apócrifa, una reedición posterior o sencillamente una señal del grabador.
