Análisis iconográfico
*La figura alegórica (Minerva/Atenea):
Sentada en el centro de la composición, una figura femenina personifica a Minerva (la diosa de la sabiduría, las artes, las estrategias bélicas y la protección del conocimiento). Se la identifica claramente por su casco empenachado con plumas y la égida sobre el pecho, que muestra la cabeza de medusa.
*El retrato enmarcado:
Con su brazo derecho, Minerva sostiene y presenta un gran óvalo que contiene el retrato de un joven noble o monarca con una frondosa peluca barroca típica de las cortes europeas. Esto denota que el grabado probablemente sirvió como frontispicio o dedicatoria laudatoria hacia este personaje, ensalzando sus virtudes bajo la guía de la Sabiduría.

*The framed portrait:
With her right arm, Minerva holds and presents a large oval containing the portrait of a young nobleman or monarch wearing a voluminous Baroque wig typical of European courts. This suggests that the engraving likely serves as a frontispiece or laudatory dedication to this figure, extolling his virtues under the guidance of Wisdom.
