Tema central:
Venus Anadyomene («Venus emergiendo del mar»), representada recostada semidesnuda sobre una gran criatura marina/concha-vehículo en el agua, mientras se retuerce o arregla su larga cabellera con ambas manos.
Figuras acompañantes:
Tres querubines (cupidos). Uno vuela en nubes estilizadas sosteniendo una guirnalda floral; otro se encuentra detrás de Venus en el vehículo marino sosteniendo una flecha/antorcha; el tercero se sitúa en primer plano inferior sosteniendo riendas o un arco cerca de la cabeza de la criatura. Una nereida o criatura marina es visible al fondo a la izquierda.
Fondo y primer plano:
Un paisaje costero lejano con montañas estilizadas y estructuras arquitectónicas en la orilla. En primer plano se aprecian conchas marinas, plantas marinas y formaciones de coral detalladas a lo largo de la costa.
Central Subject:
Venus Anadyomene ("Venus rising from the sea"), depicted reclining semi-nude atop a large sea creature/shell-car in the water while wringing or arranging her long hair with both hands.
Accompanying Figures:
Three putti (cupids). One flies above in stylized clouds holding a floral garland; one stands behind Venus on the sea vehicle holding an arrow/torch; one stands in the lower foreground holding reins or a bow near the creature's head. A nereid or mer-creature is visible in the background on the left.
Background & Foreground:
A distant coastal landscape featuring stylized mountains and architectural structures on the shoreline. The immediate foreground showcases detailed seashells, marine plants, and coral formations along the shore.
