Clotario II (584-629) fue un rey de Beustria, París y finalmente de los Francos. Era hijo de Chilperico I y Fredegunda, y fue padre de Dagoberto I .
Chlothar II (584-629) was a king of Beustria, Paris, and finally the Franks. He was the son of Chilperic I and Fredegund, and the father of Dagobert I.

This particular engraving was made in 1739 and is part of a celebrated series of portraits of the kings of France intended to illustrate historical treatises of the time. The designs by Antoine Boizot, engraved by Duchange (and other contemporary masters), were frequently published in compendiums such as the Histoire de France or iconographic collections printed in Paris during the second quarter of the 18th century.
