Grabado al buril (engraving). Se aprecia un trabajo limpio y riguroso de líneas cruzadas (cross-hatching) en el fondo para dar relieve al óvalo, y trazos concéntricos muy finos para modelar las facciones del rostro, las texturas del ropaje y el follaje del laurel.
Engraving. A clean and rigorous cross-hatching technique is evident in the background to give relief to the oval, and very fine concentric strokes to model the facial features, the textures of the clothing, and the laurel foliage.

ESTADO DEL GRABADO :
La imagen muestra la huella de la plancha (plate mark) bien definida, con márgenes cortos pero limpios. El soporte es un papel verjurado antiguo con una coloración natural y ligeras oxidaciones propias de la época, manteniendo una excelente nitidez en los negros de la tinta.
The image shows a well-defined plate mark with short but clean margins. The support is an old laid paper with a natural color and slight oxidation typical of the period, maintaining excellent sharpness in the black ink.
