La retratada luce un peinado barroco típico de mediados del siglo XVII con tirabuzones laterales y moño posterior con cinta, collar de perlas de una vuelta con lágrima pendiente, y un vestido enriquecido con encaje de picos sobre el escote y los hombros.
Escudo de armas:
En la parte inferior central, en un medallón circular independiente, figuran las armas partidas/cuarteladas correspondientes al enlace entre la Casa de Estuardo (Inglaterra, Escocia e Irlanda) y la Casa de Borbón (Francia).
Contexto de edición:
Por la tipografía del cartel inferior, la forma del pedestal con marcos rectangulares moldurados y el tratamiento tipológico del marco oval, se trata de una estampa realizada para una obra historiográfica o genealógica ilustrada francesa de comienzos del XVIII (frecuente en compendios de retratos de reyes y reinas de Inglaterra o figuras destacadas de la corte francesa).
Clothing and hairstyle:
The sitter wears a Baroque hairstyle typical of the mid-17th century, with side curls and a bun at the back secured with a ribbon, a single-strand pearl necklace with a teardrop pendant, and a dress embellished with pointed lace over the neckline and shoulders.
Coat of arms:
In the lower center, on a separate circular medallion, are the quartered arms corresponding to the union between the House of Stuart (England, Scotland, and Ireland) and the House of Bourbon (France).
Publishing context:
Based on the typography of the lower label, the shape of the pedestal with molded rectangular frames, and the typological treatment of the oval frame, this is a print made for an illustrated French historiographical or genealogical work from the early 18th century (common in compendiums of portraits of kings and queens of England or prominent figures of the French court).

Técnica:
Talla dulce pura (grabado a burin / engraving), combinada con sutiles líneas de aguafuerte preliminar para establecer los contornos. El modelado del rostro y el fondo del óvalo denotan un trabajo minucioso de líneas cruzadas simétricas (cross-hatching) muy propio de los talleres de grabado franceses de la época.

Pure engraving, combined with subtle preliminary etching lines to establish the contours. The modeling of the face and the background of the oval demonstrate meticulous cross-hatching, a technique typical of French engraving workshops of the period.
