La Virgen María, tocada con manto y nimbada con una aureola radiante, contempla serenamente al Niño Jesús, a quien sostiene acunado entre sus brazos. El rostro de la Virgen presenta una inclinación hacia el Niño en ademán de ternura materna.
The Virgin Mary, adorned with a mantle and surrounded by a radiant halo, serenely gazes upon the Child Jesus, whom she cradles in her arms. The Virgin's face is inclined toward the Child in a gesture of maternal tenderness.
