Monarca Niño/Delfín:
Joaquín aparece representado como un niño pequeño, ligeramente girado hacia la izquierda. Viste una cofia ceremonial y un manto de cuello alto decorado con la flor de lis real, alternando con la insignia del delfín del Delfín de Francia.
Orden de San Miguel (Anacronismo):
Alrededor de su cuello cuelga el collar y la medalla en forma de estrella de la Orden de San Miguel. Este es un anacronismo artístico típico de los grabados del siglo XVII, ya que la orden no fue establecida por su padre, Luis XI, hasta 1469, una década después de la muerte de Joaquín.
Child Monarch/Dauphin:
Joachim is depicted as a young toddler turned slightly to the left. He wears a ceremonial coif (cap) and a high-collared mantle decorated with the royal fleur-de-lis alternating with the dolphin insignia of the Dauphin of France.
Order of Saint Michael (Anachronism):
Around his neck hangs the collar and star medal of the Order of Saint Michael (Ordre de Saint-Michel). This is an artist’s anachronism typical of 17th-century engraving suites, as the order was not established by his father, Louis XI, until 1469—a decade after Joachim's death.
