Joan Baptiste L'ecuy fue general de la Orden de los Canónicos Premotratenses, abad del monasterio de Beaulieu, obstento el gobierno de diferentes prioratos dentro de los obispados de Aire, en 1818 fue nombrado canonigo premotratense de Notre Dame de París.
Joan Baptiste L'Ecuy was a general of the Order of Premonstratensian canons, abbot of the monastery of Beaulieu, he held different priories in the bishopric of Aire andBeaulieu, in 1818 he was appointed canon of Notre Dame in Paris.
