  • Comienza con "STEPHANUS BERNARDUS divionensis..." (Étienne Bernard, de Dijon). El extenso texto biográfico en latín detalla sus importantes cargos, mencionando que fue alcalde (Maior) de su ciudad natal, consejero y senador en el Parlamento de Borgoña (in supremo Burgundiae curia senator), guardián del sello real (Regiique sigilli custos), y un hábil negociador de la paz (pacis felicissimus negotiator). También se menciona el año de su fallecimiento en 1609 (Anno M.DC.IX.) a los 57 años (aetatis LVII), coincidiendo con la fecha de marzo (Martii).
