Las figuras: A la derecha, un hombre barbudo con un gran turbante y una túnica drapeada señala a una joven sentada en el centro. Junto a ella se encuentra un asistente o acompañante, también elegantemente vestido con atuendos levantinos exóticos (incluido un turbante/tocado estilizado)
El instrumento: La mujer sentada toca un instrumento de cuerda que se asemeja a un laúd o una cítara/mandolina estilizada, un recurso visual frecuentemente utilizado por los grabadores occidentales para representar el entretenimiento musical oriental.
