Ali Bey Al-kabir fue un político y militar mameluco de Egipto, se rebeló contra el Imperio Otomano declarando la Independencia del Eyalato de Egipto desde 1768 hasta su asesinato en 1773, volviendo este al Imperio Otomano.
Ali Bey Al - Kabir was a mamluk politician and military of Egypt, he rebelled against the Ottoman Empire declaring the independence of the Egyptian Eyalat from 1768 until his assassination in 1773, returning it to the Otoman Empire.

Retrato de medio cuerpo, girado tres cuartos hacia la izquierda, con la cabeza mirando hacia atrás por encima del hombro, hacia la derecha. Se le representa con atuendo tradicional oriental, que incluye un gran turbante y una túnica ribeteada de piel (caftán), con la empuñadura de una daga o yatagan visible a la altura de la cintura.
