Santo Tomás de Aquino fue un fraile Dominico, teólogo, filosofo y jurista es considerado el mayor representante de la enseñanza escolástica, fue autor de una obra muy extensa la " summa theologiae " considerado el compendio mas solido y completo jamás escrito, canonizado en 1323, fue declarado doctor de la iglesia en 1567.
Saint Thomas Aquinas was a Dominican friar, theologian, philosopher and jurist, he is considered the greatest representative of scholastic teaching, he was the author of a very extensive work, the ‘summa theologiae’, considered the most solid and complete compendium ever written, he was canonised in 1323, he was declared doctor of the church in 1567.
