Jean Baptiste Gay, Escritor, Abogado, Militar y Estadista Frances, Vizconde de Martignac, Secretario Particular de Emmanuel Joseph Sieyés (1798), Fiscal General de la Corte Real ( 1818), Procurador General de Limoges (1819), Diputado de la Asamblea General de Francia (1821), Consejero de Estado del Rey Luis 18e de Francia (1822) en 1823 acompaño a los cien mil Hijos de San Luis a su expedición a España, Fue primer ministro durante el reinado de Carlos X. falleció en Paris en 1832.
