François de Malherbe fue un poeta francés, una de sus obra mas importantes las lagrimas de San Pedro dieron a luz en 1598, fue el poeta oficial en las cortes de Enrique IV de Francia, durante la regencia de Maria de Medicis y posteriormente durante el reinado de luis XIII.
François de Malherbe was a French poet. One of his most important works, Les Larmes de Saint Pierre (The Tears of Saint Peter), was published in 1598. He was the official poet at the courts of Henry IV of France during the regency of Marie de Medici and later during the reign of Louis XIII.
