Maximilien de Béthune, Duque de Sully (1559–1641), hombre de Estado francés y principal ministro del rey Enrique IV de Francia. Aparece retratado de tres cuartos lucilando barba densa, golilla inclinada o cuello plano de época, y llevando al cuello la cadena de la Orden del Espíritu Santo (Ordre du Saint-Esprit) con la vieira y medalla distintiva.
Maximilien de Béthune, Duke of Sully (1559–1641), French statesman and chief minister to King Henry IV of France. He is portrayed in three-quarter view sporting a thick beard, a sloping ruff or period flat collar, and wearing around his neck the chain of the Order of the Holy Spirit (Ordre du Saint-Esprit) with the distinctive scallop shell and medal.
