Esta estampa corresponde a una interesantísima y densa composición alegórica y mitológica, cuya estructura espacial y abigarramiento estilístico remiten directamente a las ilustraciones editoriales de los siglos XVI o XVII, muy probablemente concebida como frontispicio o grabado general de apertura para una edición de Las Metamorfosis de Ovidio o un compendio mitológico similar.
This print corresponds to a very interesting and dense allegorical and mythological composition, whose spatial structure and stylistic complexity directly refer to the editorial illustrations of the 16th or 17th centuries, most likely conceived as a frontispiece or general opening engraving for an edition of Ovid's Metamorphoses or a similar mythological compendium.

La imagen presenta figuras dinámicas en primer plano, incluyendo una mujer sentada con un dramático drapeado, figuras que gesticulan cerca de elementos arquitectónicos a la derecha y figuras aladas/grotescas que emergen de densas nubes a la izquierda.
Composición:

Posiblemente combinado con aguafuerte para las líneas de contorno más fluidas del fondo. La densidad de las líneas cruzadas (taille-douce) para generar las sombras y el volumen de los ropajes es característica del manierismo tardío o del pleno barroco centroeuropeo o francés.
