SAN URBINO DE BRANCOSINI
San Urbino de Brancosini fue un hermano profeso Franciscano nacido en Montebaroccio diocesis de Urbino, Italia, del que no se sabe con exactitud el año en que nacio 1340 ? y murió, se cree que luego de un duelo con su padrino este le hirió en la pierna con la espada muriendo a consecuencia de la heridas en pocos días, experimento por ello tales remordimientos que entro en la orden Franciscana, llegando a maestro de novicios y llevando una vida de austeridad y penitencia, luego de su muerte cuenta la leyenda que un lirio de belleza inusual floreció en su tumba, este hecho sirvió para acrecentar su devoción, luego de mas de cinco siglos su cuerpo se conserva incorrupto.
San Urbino de Brancosini was a professed Franciscan friar born in Montebaroccio diocese of Urbino, Italy, of wich it is not known exactly the year in wich he was born 1340? it is believed that after a duel with his godfather he wounded him is the leg with the sword dying as a result of the wounds in a few days, he experienced such remorse that he entered the Franciscan order, becoming master of novices and leading a life of austerity and penance, after his death legend has it that a lily of unusual beauty bloomed on his tomb, this fact served to increase his devotion, after more than five centuries his body is preserved incorrupt.

El beato Santes de Urbino (1343-1394) fue un fraile franciscano de la región de Las Marcas, en Italia, conocido por su profunda humildad, piedad y visiones milagrosas. Aquí se le representa con una aureola radiante (nimbo), vistiendo el hábito franciscano tradicional con capucha, sujeto con un cordón anudado.
Composición:
La figura está representada de medio cuerpo, enmarcada sobre un fondo oscuro y densamente sombreado, con drapeados a sus espaldas, lo que concentra la atención en su rostro iluminado y sus manos expresivas.
Blessed Santes of Urbino (1343–1394) was a Franciscan brother from the Marche region of Italy, known for his deep humility, piety, and miraculous visions. He is represented here with a radiant halo (nimbus), wearing the traditional hooded Franciscan habit tied with a knotted cord.
Composition:
The figure is rendered half-length, framed against a dark, densely hatched background with drapery behind him, which concentrates the focus on his illuminated face and expressive hands.
