Aunque su padre (Gérard Jollain) estuvo establecido principalmente en la rue Saint-Jacques à la Ville de Cologne, los registros del British Museum y de la Biblioteca Nacional de Francia sitúan específicamente a su hijo, François Gérard Jollain, en la dirección "rue St Jacques à l'Enfant Jésus" hacia finales del siglo XVII y las primeras décadas del siglo XVIII (alrededor de 1720). Although his father (Gérard Jollain) was primarily based on the rue Saint-Jacques in Cologne, records from the British Museum and the National Library of France specifically place his son, François Gérard Jollain, at the address "rue St Jacques à l'Enfant Jésus" towards the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th centuries (around 1720). Therefore, this print was produced/sold from his Parisian workshop during this period (ca. 1690-1720).
