Diana in Romam mythology was the Goddess of nature, the moon, childbirth and fertility, the deer was considered her sacred animal, her equivalent in Greek mythology was Artemis, daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister of Apollo, is part of the pantheon of the twuelve Olimpian Gods.

Jean Ogier de Gombault was a French poet and playwright.

Grabado prominente de la primera edición ilustrada por 16 obras de Crispin la Passe y grabados por Leonard Gaultier, Bernard Picart y Charles David, se cree que la publicación fue un proyecto de Jean Ogier de Gombaud y Crispin de Passe bajo el patrocinio de la Reina Ana de Austria a quien esta dedicada la obra.

Prominent engraving of the first edition illustrated by 16 works by Crispin la Passe and engravings by Leonard Gaultier, Bernard Picart and Charles David, it is believed that the publication was a project of Jean Ogier de Gombaud and Crispin de Passe under the patronage of Queen Anne of Austria to whom the work is dedicated.

Jean Ogier de Gombault adapto el mito del poeta romano Ovidio al gusto del barroco de la Francia de Luis XIII, según la cual "Endimion" significa sueño quimérico siendo la luna el emblema de la inconstancia de las ideas, la obra empieza con la desaparición de la luna que sumerge el mundo en la oscuridad y la incertidumbre.

Jean Ogier de Gombault adapted the myth of the roman poet Ovidio tu the baroque of Louis XIII 's france, according to witch "Endimion" means chimerical dreams being the moon the emblem of the inconstancy of ideas, the work begins with the disappearance of the moon that plunges the world into darkness and uncertainty.

El Condado de Holanda fue un antiguo estado feudal del Sacro Imperio Romano. Germánico fundado en el siglo XI, por la dinastía Gerulfing, fue adquirida en 1433 por el Duque de Borgoña Felipe III el Bueno ( 1396 - 1467 ), pasando el Condado a la dinastía de los Hasburgo de la mano de Felipe el Hermoso ( 1478 - 1506 ) con Carlos V ( 1500 - 1558 ) y finalmente

Bajo el reinado de Felipe II ( 1555 - 1598 ) conde de Flándes , Rey de España y último Conde de Holanda.

El Condado desempeño un papel importante durante el levantamiento protestante que condujo a la secesión de las denominadas provincias unidas de los paises bajos, por el acta de la Haya de 1581 Holanda depuso a su Conde Felipe V y se unió a las provincias unidas.

The County of Holland was a former feudal state of the holy Roman Empire Germanic, founded in the 11th century, by the Gerulfing dynasty, it was acquired in 1433 by the Duke of Bourgogne Philip III The Good ( 1396 - 1467 ) passing the County to the dynasty of the Habsburgs under Philip the fair ( 1478 - 1506 ), with Charles V ( 1500 - 1558 ) and finally under

Philip II ( 1555 - 1598 ) Count of Flandes, King of Spain and las count of Holland.

The county played an important role during the protestant uprising that led to the secession of the so-called United Provinces of the low countries, by the act of the Hague of 1581 Holland deposed its Count Philip V and joined the United Provinces.
